The birth of the new city and the meaning of Lan Na literally translates to “a million rice fields”, gave birth in 1262 to a radical change. The Kingdom was born when, following the conquests of the thirteenth century, the 25th King married the daughter of the ruler of the neighboring lands and decided to found Chiang Mai. In the following years the Lanna Region became the main reference point of Indochina. This is where the Thai massage of our Lanna Thai Center originates. We want to remember a Region that was for years the center of Thai massage tradition and culture, the benefits and secrets of true Thai massage have been handed down for generations and generations during the Lanna Kingdom, up to the present day, even after the decline of Chiang Never.
